A suspected drunken driver was arrested in Denver Sunday night after a pedestrian was hit and killed.
It happened at Federal Boulevard and 14th Avenue about 8 p.m., according to Denver Police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified Monday as 57-year-old Ruben Marquez.
The suspected pickup driver did not leave the scene and was taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular homicide and suspicion of driving under the influence. She was later identified as Alicia Christine Contos.
A vigil for Marquez was held Monday night near where he died.
