Knee injury to sideline Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan 6-8 weeks
Denver Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan suffered a knee injury during training camp on Tuesday that will force him to sit out for up to two months.
Media watching the practice at Broncos headquarters at Dove Valley said Trevathan was carted off the field.
7NEWS photographer Jeff Howe said Trevathan looked very frustrated by the injury.
Let's hope for a sprain or something but from his reaction of frustration throwing gloves. I think Danny thinks it's worse. #Broncos

Later, the team announced that Trevathan has a left medial tibial impaction fracture. The injury is expected to keep him out for six-to-eight weeks.
The Broncos drafted Trevathan in the sixth round in the 2012 NFL Draft. He started all 16 games last season recording 88 solo tackles and 41 assisted tackles.
The love is real, thank y'all! Just know that's the only way I'm leaving that damn field!! #Godgotme #beenthroughitall #DTrevHere #Broncos
