A video shows a gang of bikers doing anything they can to escape from the police.
The motorcyclists, whose escape played out on the streets of Los Angeles, California, were filmed weaving into oncoming traffic, traveling through narrow underground walkways, driving without headlights and racing at staggering speeds to avoid the police.
The YouTube page for the video claims they were being chased by police after they were spotted performing tricks on the roads.
The video appears to have been filmed by multiple people - including at least one person driving a motorcycle and someone sitting behind one of the drivers, who can be seen holding a cell phone - and edited.

The video has received over 1million views on YouTube and is six minutes and fifteen minutes long.
At one point, a man crashes and falls to the ground and his bike hurtles forward down the street.
In the end a police helicopter gets involved in the search, but the riders hide under a tunnel to thwart its attempts to catch them.
Most of the drivers seem to successfully flee, according to the video.
The YouTube video page purports 'A few of the stunt bike riders [were] eventually caught and arrested by police but most of the stunt bike riders eventually [got] away and [outran] the police by going through a tunnel under the highway to escape all police including helicopter or ghetto bird!'

In hiding: The riders later head under an overpass to avoid being found by a police helicopter

Tight squeeze: The riders even head through an underground pedestrian walkway during their escape

Scary sight: The riders also swerve into traffic during the ride
Biker gangs like this have caused problems across the country, with the most infamous example occurring in New York City in September 2013.
A group of bikers terrified a man who was driving with his wife and young child, following them and eventually breaking the windows of their car to severely beat him.
One of the members of that group was a police officer.
MailOnline has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for more information.
