With the classic film "It's a Wonderful Life" playing on an a gigantic screen in the pedestrian area in front of Macy's Herald Square's Broadway entrance, the retailer unveiled its holiday window

Santa's Journey to the Stars or what Christmas would look like on another planet is the theme of the Broadway windows, replete with interactive touch screen

Macy's is integral to the Holiday tradition in New York with the Thanksgiving Day parade taking place next week and then a LOT of shopping!

Wild imagination: Christmas on a nother planet as dreamed up by the creative team at Macy's. Santa's sleigh can be seen flying off to the next planet to deliver presents!

At sunset, the windows were revealed with help from the cast of Broadway’s “You Can’t Take It With You.”

There's a gingerbread planet in this galaxy and one shaped like an ornament. Fido also floats weightless in space. Mars, the red planet, has a glistening mountain that's decked out from top to bottom and friendly little alien inhabitants
