Macy's is home to some of New York City's most famous holiday window displays.

Flooding every corner with tinsel and silver bells is a holiday tradition. Leaving empty reflections for every window, however, is a holiday mistake.

Every year, the World's Largest Store features two series of window displays -- one set depicting scenes from the classic Christmas film Mircacle on 34th Street and a second set that is new each year.

The window displays were unveiled on Thursday night just in time for Thanksgiving and the holiday season.

Santa's Journey to the Stars or what Christmas would look like on another planet is the theme of the Broadway windows, replete with interactive touch screen.

Meanwhile, fireworks erupted from the roof of the store. The windows on the 34th Street side of the store depict four scenes from the Miracle classic film.
