Zooey Deschanel dances alone in She & Him video for 'Stay a While'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Zooey Deschanel dances on her own in a new video from her band She & Him's single "Stay A While."

The 34-year-old actress appears to be dancing with an invisible partner as she twists and turns around a house. Similarly, her partner, Matthew "M." Ward is shown playing an invisible guitar as he sits on an invisible chair throughout the video.

"Stay A While" is the first single from She & Him's fifth studio album, Classics. The record will be the indie duo's first under their new label Columbia Records and includes covers of songs by musical legends including Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Costello.

Deschanel and Ward started the band in 2006 with the New Girl actress on lead vocals, tambourine, piano, ukulele and lyrics while Ward covers guitar, backing vocals, piano and production.
