A Florida woman is in custody tonight after police say she threatened her brother with a kitchen knife and threw several Ninja stars at him during a heated family argument.

Kimberly Martinez, 25, of Fellsmere, has been charged with felony aggravated assaulted in connection to the Wednesday attack on 21-year-old Randy Martinez.

According to Martinez's arrest affidavit, Kimberly and Randy were squabbling over their younger sister, who decided to bring a boy over to the house.

Randy Martinez apparently was not on board with the social call, but his older sister said that their sibling could invite her friend over.

The verbal back-and-forth turned physical at around midnight when police say Miss Martinez started to hit and choke her brother, and attempted to put out a lit cigarette on his face, according to the arrest document cited by The Smoking Gun.

After Randy Martinez fled the residence, his sister allegedly followed him brandishing a fillet knife and a handful of metal Ninja stars.

Luckily for Randy, his sister turned out to be a less than stellar shot: the responding sheriff's deputy later found three Ninja stars lying on the road.

Randy Martinez escaped the family feud with minor cuts and scrapes. Meanwhile, his sister is being held on $21,000 bond.
